I live in a small 3-bed terraced house with a downstairs loo which is handy because my daughter can't get up and downstairs by herself and is getting heavier.  But I don't feel we make the best use of the space we've available to us and I'm conscious that my daughter is getting bigger and needs more privacy and opporutunity to test her independence.  I'm not sure where to start and could do with some advice.  Can anyone help, or point me in the right direction?
